Savasana (Corpse)
A Vata-Pacifying Yoga Pose
You may want socks and a blanket for this restful pose. Lie on your back with arms and legs extended and slightly parted, palms facing up. Close your eyes and relax your body. Notice your breath becoming slower and softer. Allow yourself to go into a state of pure relaxation while maintaining consciousness.
Vata Focus:
Let your body be heavy. Experience and enjoy the earth's support as you release into the ground. Use blankets to create a cocoon to keep you warm and grounded.
