Organic Bhringaraj Seeds

Also known as false daisy and eclipta, bhringaraj (Eclipta prostrata) is a vigorous Ayurvedic herb with a wild, sprawling nature and small white flowers that are a favorite among pollinators. Bhringaraj is an annual that grows up to about a foot in height and is easy to germinate and grow.

Start indoors in pots or cell trays 4–8 weeks before the last frost. Bhringaraj germinates best in the shade and takes 6–12 days to germinate.

Plant outside once danger of frost has passed, in rich soil and full sun, and water regularly.

Bhringaraj grows vigorously in the heat of the summer and can sprawl two feet in each direction.

Once the plant is fully in flower and before it has begun to seed, harvest by cutting the leaves and stems with a serrated knife. Wear gloves and long sleeves when you harvest, as this plant can irritate the skin.
