Organic Cherry Tomato Seeds

Sweetie cherry tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a vibrant and flavorful heirloom variety known for its small, juicy fruits that burst with sweetness. This tomato holds up on the vine exceptionally well and produces throughout summer and into fall.

Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost. Germination takes 7–10 days. Transfer to 3–4 inch pots once plants put out their first true leaves.

Plant outdoors after all danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed to around 70°F. Plant in full sun with well-drained, fertile soil rich in organic matter.

Water regularly to promote healthy growth, but avoid overhead watering, which can increase the risk of fungal diseases and fruit rot. Provide a trellis or cage for an easeful harvest and to keep tomatoes off the ground.

Tomatoes will turn a vibrant red when fully ripe, and should be picked regularly to encourage continuous production. Harvest when they are still firm, as they will continue to ripen off the vine.
