Rose Energy Bites

Rose Energy Bites

Simple. Easy. No Bake. And so delicious! These tasty little bites are packed with tons of flavor and lots of plant-based energy.

The ingredients in these treats are great for rejuvenation. They are also deeply nourishing and have benefits for the digestive tract and some of the deeper dhatus (tissues) in our bodies. The best part? They literally take about 7 minutes to make and you can enjoy them immediately.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ¾ cup fresh almond butter or more, depending on the oiliness of your nut butter (this is the main ingredient that holds your bites together, so add accordingly)
  • 4 heaping tablespoons of gulkand or rose paste (you can find this at your local Indian grocery store)
  • ½ cup ground chia seeds
  • ½ cup shelled hemp seeds
  • 4 teaspoons agave syrup
  • 4 teaspoons shredded coconut, more if you love coconut
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Pinch of cinnamon powder

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, mix together, and use your hands to roll into bite-size balls.

You truly can't go wrong with this recipe. I made one batch and my family ate half of it in a matter of minutes! Enjoy eating and sharing these amazing treats.
