About Tulsi (Holy Basil) Seed Bundle

This bundle of tulsi (holy basil) seeds includes four common varieties of organic tulsi, each with its own unique taste, color, and aroma. A favorite among pollinators, tulsi brings an uplifting scent and beauty to the garden and can be grown for culinary or herbal uses.

Planting

Tulsi seeds are light-dependent germinators, meaning they need sunlight to sprout. Start indoors in a sunny windowsill, or sow directly outdoors after the last frost. For best results, scatter seeds and press lightly into the earth, then cover with a fine layer of soil. Plant in full sun.

Growing & Harvesting

Tulsi thrives in full sun and rich, well-drained soil. It appreciates regular watering, but is adaptable and relatively low maintenance once established.

Tulsi is content in a container garden, flower pot, or on a windowsill, and the leaves can be harvested often for cooking, teas, tinctures, or salves.
